EXTERIOR FINISHES

Working and shining

Anodized bumper bar

The paint on the bumpers is not a good option because, with the use and discharges, the paint just disappears.

The standard finish on all our bumper bars consists of an anodising treatment that improves the durability of the aluminum. It is the standard treatment of aluminum in marine components.

Finishes

Available both the paint finish and the natural aluminum finish, despite the difficulty involved in obtaining it.

The Tisvol painting process

The Tisvol painting process guarantees a minimum of 85 microns throughout the vehicle. We perform, in all vehicles, a control test of reading points distributed over the entire surface with which we verify that the application has been perfect.

During the painting process, we consider aspects such as these:

  • Minimum of 85 microns in the entire surface.
  • Painting of the chassis separately from the box and prior to any installation. This preserves the color code.
  • Checkpoints on all painted vehicles.
  • Electrostatic painting
  • Oven dried
  • Previous surface treatment of blasting or sanding with which the pore opens and the perfect result is obtained.
  • We use an innovative, high-quality product applied in multiple layers. The first layer acts as a primer for perfect adhesion, while the remaining layers serve as an aesthetic finish, providing high gloss and a flawless leveling effect. The product contains a high concentration of anti-corrosive agents, and the necessary quality controls are carried out to comply with the current regulations for paints and varnishes (ISO 2409-2808-2813-4628-12944).

Dacromet screws

We take the prevention of corrosion very seriously. We assemble the best treatment in the hardware to build a huge reliability.

Analysis in Salt spray chamber

We verify the quality of our paint and fasteners process in the areas of union between different galvanized metals. We perform annual tests of corrosion resistance in salt spray chamber (according to UNE-EN ISO 9227 standard), with simulations at the scale of chassis and boxes (up to 1,000 hours). The results are tremendously satisfactory: no paint clogging appears (norm UNE 48258-2-ISO 4628-2: 1982) and maintains an exceptional behavior against corrosion on the painted surface (norm UNE 48258-3-ISO 4628-3: 1982).

HOW A TISVOL IS BUILT

The process of building a Tisvol includes more than 40 robots that are part of the production process, more than 4km of welding per unit and more than 1,000 screws.

An automation of more than 85% of the welding process in all its joints to obtain a maximum level of quality and a guarantee that the manual process can not sustain over time. The welding stations are automated with 3 or 5 axis robots equipped with the highest technology in CNC.

All this automated assembly is born from the dream of the founders, the vision of the direction and the execution of all the human team that forms Tisvol, and that is not to forget that touch of craftsmanship, the know-how of our staff, with many years of experience applied to each vehicle. Surprise yourself knowing how a Tisvol is built:

The importance of tare weight in Tisvol

In all the ranges, in any of our vehicles, the tare is one of the main values that our customers highlight after trying them. Choosing Tisvol is choosing higher payload, better optimization. Tare weight is the basis of profitability for our customers, and at Tisvol we are aware of this, which is why we allocate a large part of our resources to the development of lighter vehicles with maximum durability.
