Celebrating 10 Years of Collaboration with Optitrailer: An Interview with Istvan Szikszai Their Co-Founder
At Tisvol, we are pleased to have worked for 10 years with Optitrailer, our distributor in Hungary. To commemorate this anniversary, we spoke with one of the co-founders of the company, who shared his memories and reflections on how this collaboration began.
Tell us a little about the beginnings of Optitrailer. How did the company come to be?
Optitrailer was founded in 2010 along with my partner, Bajkai Zsolt. At first, we focused on the sale and repair of trailers, especially used vehicles and hydraulic systems. From the beginning, we were on the lookout for a supplier who could offer high quality and adapt to the needs of our customers.
What was the process of finding Tisvol as a partner like?
During a trip to Spain, we discovered Tisvol and were impressed by the quality of their products. So we decided to get in touch. They invited us to visit the factory, and during the visit, I had a good impression of the team. That experience convinced me that we had found our business partner.
How did that first experience impact the relationship we have today?
After the first sale of a Tisvol semi-trailer in Hungary, we organized an open house and invited several of our customers. There, they could see the Tisvol trailers, and by doing so, they confirmed what we had already noticed: the design and quality were really good.

What has been the most important milestone for Optitrailer over the years?
One of the most significant moments was when Bogos-Trans, the largest grain transport company in Hungary, decided to accept our offer and start working with us. That truly cemented our place in the Hungarian market.
What would you highlight about these 10 years of collaboration with Tisvol?
Over these 10 years, we have seen that the Tisvol team is very accessible and easy to work with. We appreciate their commitment to innovation and development, which has allowed us to grow together. We look forward to continuing our collaboration for many more years to come.
